Rental Conditions
Rental Conditions define the terms under which Delta Car vehicles are rented in Montenegro, including eligibility requirements, payment terms, insurance coverage, and renter responsibilities.
Minimum rental charge is one day (24 h).
If the daily rate is exceeded by more than two hours an additional day will be charged.
Minimum driver's age is 23 years.
A valid driver's license held for at least 3 years is required.
Rental charges must be paid in cash or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners).
VAT is included in the price.
Insurance (CDW and TP) is included in the price.
Unlimited mileage for the territory of Montenegro.
Fuel is not included in the price.
The customer is obliged to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as during pick-up.
Crossing the state border is not allowed without written permission from DELTA CAR.
Parking and traffic fines are the client's responsibility.
In the case of lost keys or documents, the €500,00 fine must be paid.
In Case of Accident or Damage

Inform Delta Car as soon as possible.
Obtain a police report* for any damage, including scratches or parking incidents
* A police report is required even if the damage occurred while the vehicle was parked or unattended. Without a police report, insurance is not valid. In this case, the renter bears full responsibility.
Choose Your Insurance & Protection Level
All Delta Car rentals include basic insurance by default.
The insurance is Kasko (CDW, TPL, and TP), which provides coverage for vehicle damage and theft, subject to the terms, exclusions, and excess amounts listed below.
You can upgrade your protection to reduce or eliminate your financial responsibility in the event of an incident.
Insurance Does Not Cover the Following:

Damage to vehicle components, including tires, wheels, windscreen, undercarriage, and interior parts - Damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances
- Damage resulting from unauthorized use, including driving without a valid driver's license or by a driver not listed in the rental contract
- Damage caused by improper vehicle use, such as driving on unauthorized, unsurfaced, or rough roads, or on roads that may reasonably cause vehicle damage

- Windscreen and glass
- Undercarriage and vehicle underside
- Interior damage
- Lost keys or documents (€500 fee)
A police report is mandatory for any damage, even minor scratches or parking incidents.
Enhanced Protection Plan (EP)
Best for: Drivers who want lower risk without full coverage
Includes Basic Insurance, plus:
- Reduced excess (lower financial liability)
- Extra protection for commonly damaged parts
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- Unlimited mileage in MNE
Your liability (by vehicle group):
- A, B, BA – 150 €
- C, CA, D, DA – 200 €
- E, EA, F, FA – 225 €
- H, HA – 250 €
- J – 300 €
Not covered (unless part of a collision):
- Tires and rims
- Undercarriage damage
- Interior or window damage
Insurance becomes invalid if:
- The car is left unlocked
- The key is left inside
- An unauthorized driver uses the vehicle
Police report required: Always call 122, even if you were not present.
Super Protection (SCDW + PAI)
Best for: Maximum peace of mind
What's included:
- Zero liability for vehicle damage (with police report)
- Covers damage even if you caused the accident
- Includes PAI (Personal Accident Insurance)
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- Unlimited mileage in Montenegro
Not covered:
- Interior damage (unless caused by a crash)
- Wheels, tires, and rims
- Undercarriage and vehicle frame
- Glass damage
- Lost or broken keys
- Lost vehicle documents
Police documentation is mandatory. Without it, you are fully responsible for all costs.
WUG Protection
(Wheel, Undercarriage & Glass Insurance)
Best for: Montenegro's roads and parking conditions
Covers:
- Wheels, rims, and tires
- Undercarriage and vehicle frame
- Glass and windscreen damage
Does not cover:
- Interior damage (unless from an accident)
Note: vehicle use is limited to public, surfaced roads only.
